In Luke 14:25-30, we read Jesus’ parable about counting the cost of discipleship. He said, “Which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down FIRST and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it?” My friend, salvation is free, but serving God will cost you everything! Don’t be intimidated by that, though, because it’s quite like trading pennies for bars of gold. It’s more than worth the cost! This month, I encourage you to take some time to really think about your relationship with Jesus Christ. I encourage you to build a tower of faith that will stand as a testament to the grace and favor of God. It’s going to cost you something, and that’s okay.
