After months of planning we are finally on the ground in San Pedro Sula! Volunteers from both Honduras and Light of Life International joined together Saturday to help prepare more than 30,000 pounds of food for distribution to people in need. On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, the week of July 16th, more than 100 people from the United States will partner with dozens of Hondurans to pass out food in local communities around the San Pedro Sula area. San Pedro Sula is a huge city of more than 1,000,000 people, and many families are living in poverty with very little food. These bags of food not only meet a practical need of the people, but provide an opportunity to talk about Jesus. The time for Honduras Prays is approaching fast, we are now only a few weeks away! This past week, Stephen Evans was asked to make an appearance on TBN’s Enlace TV network to talk about about the event and how God is moving in Latin America. Enlace USA, headquartered in north Texas, provides Christian programming and faith-based television to the Latin American community. What a wonderful opportunity to spread the word about Honduras Prays! Continue to pray for the nation of Honduras, as we approach this historic event!
